Betensky Law PLLC is hiring an experienced part-time associate attorney for our Real Estate practice group based in Mount Kisco, N.Y.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Represent clients on purchase and sale transactions; draft and negotiate contracts of sale, advise clients regarding due diligence including environmental, title, survey, zoning, engineering etc. Real estate finance. Attend closings.
- Represent clients on commercial lease transactions on behalf of landlords and tenants.
- Telecommunications agreements
- License Agreements including Party Wall Agreements and Parking Agreements
- Addressing trusts & estates issues arising out of real estate transactions
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of New York.
- Minimum three (3) years experience in real estate law.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Three (3) professional references.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
